Wine for archaeology - The
Donnafugata wine firm
has recently signed an agreement with the Normale University of Pisa, which
will partly finance the excavations that archaeologists are carrying out on
the Rock of Entella. The vineyards of the firm are in the territory
surrounding the Rock where, hundreds of years ago, the Elim town of Entella
flourished. The agreement also foresees the institution, by Donnafugata, of
the 'Giuseppe Nenci Prize', entitled to the best researcher of Elim civilisation and aimed at young researchers who intend to continue
study into the site. |
